For a daily report, a GUI interface is created that connects to EDMS database. With this, the user may print
the report upon his or her request. The total number of listed items will be displayed at the end of the report.
The suggested form's details will be customized to EDMS's default document profile form. In addition,
one or more 'Quick Search' template will be created to simplify the search processes.

Moving towards a paper-less environment by doing the on-line editing and automatically
routing of documents; Documents are found with greater ease; the turnaround time to
deliver Hansard to Members of Parliament reduced to one day from two days; changes are
tracked more effectively by the system; similar documents can be reproduced within a
fraction of the time.

DMS is the total solution for State of Government Sabah. A standard package is also
introduced to State of Government Sabah in order to maintain a standard procedures
as well as standardising their filing structure. In order to blend DMS into State
of Government Sabah's environment, auto-generated folio numbering and document sealing
is specifically customised for them. Reporting modules is also customised according
to department or agencies' requirement.

Kementerian Tenaga, Komunikasi dan Multimedia (KTKM)

The main purpose of implementing EDMS in KTKM is to achieve a 'paperless' environment with a central
repository system. This would allow KTKM's citizen to share information internally, which is
known as the K-Bank. K-Bank is one of the core components in the Project K-KTKM.

The main purpose of implementing EDMS in MOI is to achieve a 'paperless' environment and also to
implement the central repository document system. Users from other branches such as from Klang
or Shah Alam would be able accessing documents from EDMS at ease. The project is divided into phases
so that users would be able to handle and adapt into the new system easily. They are in the ending
stage of first phase of where the system is now available.

Record Management and Document Imaging functionality of PC Docs were deployed to maintain all
the records and correspondences. Benefits are fast and accurate in retrieving, spend less time
in location documents and save in printing cost.

The implementation of EDMS is currently in progress, and it will eventually integrate with
e-Licensing. Besides implementing EDMS, backlog conversion of 600,000 pages within 3 months.
The purposes of implementing are to achieve a 'paperless' environment, reduce the distribution
of physical documents/files within responsible parties within MPOB, and provide a central
repository document system, which allows sharing of information and/or documents.

the next day, compared to three days previously.

The purposes of implementing EDMS in ERL are to achieve a 'paperless' environment,
implement the central repository document system, and also to archive documents from SAP R/3.
Thus, there is integration between EDMS and SAP R/3. Document and process flow has blended into
Hummingbid's solution and in electronic form which achieve one of ERL's requirements, that is,
paperless environment. The document and process flow in ERL is implementing Siemen's document
and process flow.

Hummingbird DM 5.0.
